Help

That is a beautiful response. Thank you.
Hi Laurie … Thank you for your beautiful comment. Crystal Lake, hmmm? My Godparents (aunt and uncle, both now deceased) and their family (and my birth father, also deceased) live/d in Crystal Lake/area. Perhaps you may have heard of them, the Veugelers? They do or did own the waste/garbage business there and in the area. Have lost touch with them after all these years, but do hear a bit now and then from my aunt in St. Louis, the sister of my father.
I glanced through your profile page – my what wondrous things you have done/do … and wonderful goals, too!
Judy - I just did a quick online check and yes, Crystal Lake has several Veugelers: Deanna, George, James, Kimberly and Robert. I am not acquainted with any of them. We have been here since 1991.
Thank you for looking. How did you check online? I'm not too computer savvy. They are all my family, probably 2nd and 3rd cousins which I don't know at all. Bob and Ethel Veugeler were my aunt and uncle, my godparents. If I recall correctly they had four sons. Uncle Bob is the one who years ago bought (or started???) the garbage business in Crystal Lake. I really wish I knew more about the paternal side of my family; my mother divorced my Dad when I was four, and moved us to Oregon. He died of complications from alcoholism. Maybe one of these days I'll look into it. Again, thank you for letting me know. I've not seen nor heard of any Veugelers outside of IL, although I think a cousin did move to Seattle area, maybe still lives there.
I just went through your profile again – you are a magnificent being. I, too, am not affiliated with any religion – left that behind after my Near-Death Experience in 1976, have been a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba since April 1981. Have lately been reading Dannion Brinkley's three books about his 3 NDEs – fascinating. Husband, Bill and I will be going to Portland, OR, in late October for training to be certified with The Twilight Brigade, a “hospice” of sorts for Veterans. “Hospice” without the medicine. Dannion started TTB realizing there are so many “forgotten” veterans, alone when they are transitioning. Dannion's profile is on TTB's website www.TheTwilightBrigade.com, … he is one incredible, remarkable man. I met him and we listened to him speak at The Reconnection's Mastery Conference in LA last Sept. He is funny, delightful and so authentic. Something in your profile rang a bell that made me think of Dannion, but at the moment I can't think of what.
The way that I look up a person on line is by going to www.anywho.com. I just type in their last name, city and state. It's like an on line phone book.
Thank you for the Twilight Brigade website information. I will definitely check it out during he next window of opportunity that presents itself.
Thank you!!! I have several long-lost friends I will look for. Have gone to some sites but they charge, so this sounds very good! Thank you!
